    Hi, PROs

I have recently encoded the DVD-9 of Quo Vadis [1951], a full-screen movie (4:3), into x264 video, with meGUI. The process took around 20 hours [!] in my machine, and the result played at 5:4 aspect ratio, a DAR confirmed by MediaInfo. Maybe I made some minor error in configuring meGUI for the specific job, but that's not the issue here. Of course, while playing in VLC it could be changed to 4:3 without any hassle, but it would be nice to find out if there's any software that just modifies the DAR flag without reencoding the video...

    Regards.

  2. You can re-wrap it mkvtoolnix and set the AR flag

Load video, select video track, format specific options tab, set aspect ratio , push start muxing

  3. MKVtoolnix is only option for setting DAR.

Thanks. Let me try it, and I'll report back.

    You have my regards.

    Edit:

Yes, it works. Beautiful. The MKVmerge in the MKVtoolnix did it.

    Regards.
