  1. I want to use dbpoweramp to encode dts 7.1 to what ever codecs like fdk-he-aac or m4a. The problem is when i convert 7.1 HD-DTS audio, it will say "unable to insert sample grabber" I already installed the following decoders and codecs DirectShow and ac3filter, still saying the same message, am I missing something?

  2. I suspect it's a problem with DTS. What I would do is use MKVMerge GUI to strip the audio from the file. Get a program called foobar2000 and its DTS decoder add-on from their website. Drop your MKA file in there and convert it to WAV or whatever format, then you could probably use foobar2000, etc, to do what you need. I would also install the Apple Application Support (look up how to make qaac portable) and use iTunes' AAC encoder instead of the fdk one. Just my two cents.

  3. dBpoweramp has an active forum and the developer, Spoon, is a regular poster.

This is the best place to ask for dBpoweramp support:
