    every minute or so a window pops up saying my clips are missing and i have to reselect the files one by one so that i can use them. its so i can barely even do any work. its extrememly infuriating and i need to know how to stop it from repeatedly happening so i can get something done.

    sounds like you might have a dying hard drive or windows is losing connection with the drive for some reason. where are the files located internal or external drive? hard drive or ssd?
