    I see the China is now delivering these batteries at AU $48.99, $49.37 US (Amazon.) The question is : how good are they? Any thoughts on this?
    The current local price is about $114.

    i've purchased some made in china large capacity rechargeable camera/camcorder batts and haven't had any issues except some have displayed the wrong remaining units on screen. mostly "assembled in china with japanese made cells" have been the ones i've gone with.

    Somebody will probably buy 50 or so, of them, and sell them for $70.00 - $80.00 a piece. $120.00 bucks is ridiculous for this product. Crutchfield wants $169.99 still, robbery, pure and simple. I guess I'll try China's battery, as I also had some in the past that functioned well.
