Don't bother unless you can read Russian. Doesn't play my 265.mkv files created by DivXEngine either.

Doesn't play MY files created by the DivXEngine. No player does. Looks like I'm not the only one that can't create a working file looking at doom9. I can't read Russian so it doesn't do me any good. Now if he would offer an English version then I might try it. A portable version would be nice also.

I gave it a 10 frame avi last night with .245 frame rate instead of the 1000 frame files I had been giving it and it encoded the file just fine. It took a whole lot longer to encode so I can't say that I saw any advantage in speed over the other encoders. I'll try another source file since I've been using High Resolution graphics files created in Photoshop and encoded to uncompressed avi in Gif Movie Gear.
