Using Nero to convert .avi to DVD5. Stand alone player reports that disc cannot be played due to area (zone) restrictions. How can I burn to DVD with this Zone?
TIA

zone restrictions
If you mean like a region code , they are only present in comercial pressed discs, Definitely not in an AVI and not put on by Nero.
Trying to use Nero to do everything from AVI to DVD-R is NOT the way to do things.
If you want to convert from AVI to DVD you want to learn how to do it properly.
You need to convert the AVI to Mpeg2
Then you need to 'Author ' the files
Then Burn them to a DVD-R
I suggest TMPGenc to convert
TMPGenc DVD Author to Author
And Nero to Burn.
IF you click on the TMPGenc names above they will lead you to guides on their use.
There is a lot more to this than a one click solution.
