  5. Any possibility of getting the following in 1024k...it is the cork v clare hurling semi final. I can only seem to download it via rtmpexplorer in the 512k format. 1024k would be fantastic if it can be done:

    Hi,

would anyone able to get this programme for me, 3 days left before it's gone.

http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/show/10295732/ (in the best quality available?)

Will get up to speed with doing it myself for the rest in the series of programmes at the weekend hopefully.

    thanks,

    Kohhal

    Hi,

Sorry meant to come back to this, figured out how to do it using RTMP explorer. The method in the first post of this topic didn't work for me however.

    Thanks though

@ rteripper - Thanks for post #124, the simple instructions and attached files worked perfectly. You've helped make the missus very happy.

  11. Hello Thanks rteripper for all your hard work on this over the years.

From your instructions, I figured out how to download 512k files from RTE player by pasting the XL player link into rtmpExplore. That's great, but I would like to download 1024k files as well. Could you please post instructions for how to do that?

    Hi Guys

Could you help me get a stream down ?
A family member is on this, so would mean a lot to save the video before it is gone.
    It is this one here:
    http://www.rte.ie/bosco/components/player/iframe.html?clipid=20623531

I have a mac, so I cannot use the tools explained in the thread
Is there a manual way of downloading a stream ?

I have found what I thought was the stream:
    Code:
    rtmpe://fmsod.rte.ie/rtevod/mp4:/2014/0727/20140727_rteone-sixnews-newwaterpa_c20623531_20623540_260_/20140727_rteone-sixnews-newwaterpa_c20623531_20623540_260__512k.mp4*play*0*MAC%2014,0,0,145*2754**UTF-8*1406799139611/
But VLC or Safari wont recognise it..

The 1024 stream would be the best, but if it is not available, I understand
