    Hi,

I am using iPhone 5, iOS7, Premiere CS6. Most of the videos that recorded in the iPhone can be uploaded into Premiere with no problems.
However, I have problems to upload few files into Premiere (see the error message), but (!) I can play those videos in Windows Media Player etc.

As a result, I am looking for a freeware video converter, in order to convert this video with minimum compression (!), to keep the same aspect, frame rate, resolution etc.

What is the best tool for this?

    Regards,
    Uriel

  2. A simple remux with ffmpeg may do the trick

ffmpeg -i mybad.mov -vcodec copy -acodec copy mygood.mov

Otherwise try Mpegstreamclip, or Quicktime Pro or VLC

Ideally you don't want to convert, just copy and restructure.
