yesterday i tried playing a ts file on my macbook and quick time would take around 30s to load the file while being frozen before it started playing it with no seeming problems.but the freezing at the start is bothering me isn't the machine powerful enough to be able to load it instantaneously or is the problem somewhere else?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Did you try any other player like VLC Media Player?
-
yeah i tried 2 other players from the app store neither worked but now when you mentioned vlc(thanks for that) i downloaded it and it plays it without problems except you can see tearing?pixelation? i dont know what it is called when the motion gets fast you just see lens, hopefully thats from the movie itself?
its still strange though why does qt struggle to play it and is it even supposed to anyway...
