I just got an ATI TV Wonder USB device. I hate the software that comes with it, so someone told me that PowerVCR II was good. I bought that and it works fair, but my problem is that after a while, the audio/video get slightly out of sync. It kind of like watching an old Chineese Karate movie.

I downloaded and tried virtual DUB but I can't get ANY audio output no matter how I configure the thing.

All I want to do is transfer a few VHS tapes to SVCD or DVD before they die on me.

Please tell me what software to get, or how to configure what I've got.

Thanks a Bunch... BTW, someone earlier posted that a USB capture device is a POS due to low bandwidth. If I connect this thing to a USB 2.0 port would it help any in the bandwidth departmet?

I would have thought USB 2.0 was necessary. Isn't it a USB 2 device?
Which specific model did you get?

Why don't you try some of the generic capture programs such as iuVCR or amarectv ?

It was a joke bump. I posted that 12 years ago and never got a reply. I've converted thousands of tapes since then. Thanks for the reply though.
