I need to add voice through mic to vcd (or any other video file). Can you recommend a freeware that is easy to use.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Audacity. It will be a two pass exercise, but that will happen with most software anyway. Use Media Player Classic or VLC to play the video using the "Always on Top" option. While it plays, record with Audacity. When it's done, mux the video and audio together to create the final file.

is it also possible to do it in this way when the picture has to be paused for a moment and the voice should go on(like translation) and then how will this video file be saved?
