  1. Hi,

When I open DVD shrink and attempt to "re-author" the file, DVDshrink shuts down. I unistalled DVDshrink, re-booted
the computer and re-installed the program. I even downloaded another copy of DVDshrink thinking that the installation file had been corrupted. I still get
the same problem. I like to edit the file to reduce the compression. Suggestions?

    Sincerely,

    GF

Is the source file you are reauthoring stored on your harddrive, or is DVDShrink reading from a disc in your DVD drive? Is the DVD copy protected?

Do you by chance have IE8 installed?

  4. I do have IE8 installed.

I copied the DVD to the HD with Ripit4me and then attempted to re-author the DVD file. I can back up the file thereby reducing the file size to fit on a single sided DVD but I want to get rid of the credits at the end.

Go back to IE7. This is a known problem with IE8.
