    I've been trying to capture VHS to Mpeg2 with a PVR-250 using Wintv 2000. The tape I am using plays perfectly on any VHS deck when connected to a TV, but when I run it through the PVR-250, I get wavy lines through the picture.

    Here are a couple captures:

    The first photo shows the waves on the lower half off the screen...


    The second shows them all over the place....



    ANyone have any Ideas? This god damn Hauppage card has been nothing but trouble......

    Do you see this on ALL captures, even when NOT capping from Video tape?
