  1. Will this work: nas hdds formatted in nfts and connected to Ethernet port, or must I reformat in hfs+? Purpose: to stream usuing windows. Thank you, marccc

    Should work fine. Even Mac can read and write (somewhat successfully) to NTFS now if you have 10.5+

    That would be 10.6 for write support, according to some websites (link 1, link 2), not counting commercial third party tools.
