  1. I recently have bought a samsung bdd5500 bluray player, and it's working great.

I only have one question, I stream videos from my computer to player (through wired network), and I found out that with some mkv files it does not show the subtitles (subs are hard cooked into the mkv files), on my computer they are shown, but I know that's different.

Any one got an idea why?
    And how to solve this?

Your blu-ray player doesn't support all kinds of subtitle formats.

You could compare the subtitle format in the mkvs that work with the ones that don't. Use mkvtoolnix or extract the subtitles with mkvextractgui2 to check the subtitles. THen can you try reconvert the subs and add back to the mkv with mkvtoolnix.
