Tried the program and it works just fine.

MKVtoolnix will allow you to import chapters into a MKV and other small programs will allow you to generate chapters by times that are by selectable random interval, but if you want each chapter to have the same selectable interval, this program is about as easy as it gets.

I realise this is an old thread but the problem I have would seem appropriate to be here. Mods shift if there is a more suitable location.

I've been using this program successfully for a number of years and has worked seamlessly. However this file (MediaInfo report follows) whilst I can select it when I run it it just sits there. The file is ex MPEGTS from off air (Australian Digital TV which is standard MPEG2 video plus audio and no DRM down here). I was wondering if there is something in the video parameters that is causing the problem.

Software used ProjectX to edit and demux to separate video, subtitle (SRT) and audio. The video and audio were remuxed in Womble using standard DVD PAL template ( ie DVD compliant) Next the resulting MPEG2 file together with the SRT added to the latest version of MKVMergeGui and a MKV file produced. This plays ok on my PC, my Popcorn C200 and my Beyonwiz T3 with no issues.

When I try to add chapters MKV Chapterizer just sits there.

I tried a earlier version of MKVMergeGui but same result. I am currently making an AVI file from the MPEG2 and then I will remux it with the SRT in MKVMergeGui in case MKV chapterizer doesn't like something in the parameters of the MPEG2 within a MKV container.
