    Hi,

I have DVD Fab and I am looking to use this to extract the AC3 audio from DVD's, can this be done? If so how do I set it up?

I have used DVD Decrypter in the past which works perfectly if you enable stream processing, however it can't cope with the latest copy protection of films such as 007 Casino Royal.

What I need is a phyiscal AC3 audio files, rather than the usual empty audio file you get via a standard copy.

Any help is much appriciated :@)

Nope. But you can rip the dvd to your hdd and then use pgcdemux to rip out the ac3 audio.

Or install ANyDVD and use DVD Decrypter as usual.

  4. Hi agtjones,

If you have "DVDFab Mobile Option", you can extract Audio from DVD.

    1. Select "Generic" in left navigation bar.
    2. Select the title/chapter you want to extract.
    3. Click "Next" and check "Conversion Settings", you can choose "Audio Only".
    4. Choose "geneici.audio.copy" profile in "Device" line, or you can convert audio to MP3/MP4/WAV.

For detailed guide, please check http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/index.php/Main/DVDToMobileAudioOnly

    Best Regards,
    Fengtao
