I need a UK power supply for a Datavideo TBC-1000. Can anyone recommend a replacement?
On the back of the unit it says DC 12V, 1.2A
I've yet to find a PSU that's both 12V and 1.2A - often they're 1.25A, would that still work or blow the thing up? (I have no idea)
I've been finding threads (as I've researched) about problem power causing unwanted artifacts from the unit, so wanna get it right!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You can use any 12V power supply which can deliver at least 1.2A.
So 1.25A, 2A or 5A doesn’t make difference. TBC1000 power supply is unregulated,
Without load it will output 16V (I just checked my).
All the voltages are regulated inside the unit.
Make sure the center of the plug is positive. -
Thanks Richardm.
What do you mean when you say it will 'output 16v'?
Just curious. I don't get how it can output more than is put in (eg 12V). -
Unregulated means it often outputs 15-16 v as opposed to a steady 12 v for regulated supplies
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
