Hi I am currently using subtitle edit 3.3.7 and I was wondering if there is any way I could add a foreign language (my language is not a common language and it's not in the options section) to the subtitle edit so that it would make subtitles in my language. Please give me in details of what to do as I am new to this. I appreciate your help.

ps: I have searched far and wide on how to do this and I can't find ones that are helpful

Open subtitle edit and choose spell check/get dictionary and select your language and click on download.

  5. Perhaps you could try here:

    http://my.duniakitab.com/ThanLwinSoft/ThanLwinSoft/Downloads/#OOoGr

    If you use Windows download

    thanlwinsoft-ooo-myanmar_0.1.0.30_windows_x86.oxt

Change the extension .oxt to .zip and extract the files ny_MM.aff/my_MM.dic

If you use an installer version af Subtitle Edit place thase files in

    C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\subtitle edit\Dictionaries

If you use a portable version of Subtitle Edit place them in the Dictionary folder of where ever you installed Subbtitle Edit

I'm not sure what you expect to happen but once you installed the myanmar/burmese dictionary you should get a choice like this
