    why do it take ages to convert movies to vob from avi using divx to dvd i am converting a .mpg 487mb taken over an hour already

    are your source and destination on the same physical drive ?

    DivxtoDVD should be able to process 90 minuutes of footage in a round 60 - 70 minutes.
