Last store in my area that had Verbatim was Best Buy, and the last time I looked for any there, they only had the Life Series. Might as well be buying Memorex getting those.

  4. I think this has to do with all other cheap brands that can't compete with Verbatim. So they offer better prices to retailers if they eliminate Verbatim products from their shelves.
People who do not know, will buy garbage from the cheap brands Corps. who's make profits in the long run, using this cheap-cheat shot.

I buy online and find the best prices by comparing diff. prices/selection at diff Amazons

When I looked, Amazon.de (for the OP) had plenty of +R's but no -R's. Do Verbatim make dl -R's ?

Amazon are not particulary cheap when it comes to blank media. I used to buy mine in bulk from a specialist UK mail-rider firm who sadly went out of business.

In fact fleabay can turn out to be cheaper. And that is where I turned to.

I think they used to make them, but I'm not certain. If they did, they don't anymore. The only DVD DL media Verbatim makes now is DVD+R DL.

You're missing the point.....I need ONE, and I could have used it yesterday.
I know Verbatim is not out of business, and I am well aware that things can be purchased on these here interwebs of connected tubes.

I haven't found Verbatim local in 5+ years now.
    Aside from Microcenter, that is.

  10. Yeah the only place that I have been able to find them locally is Microcenter as well.
On a side note, the Verbatim DataLife Plus Made in Singapore apparently has been discontinued.
