Lately, while playing several movies in the MKV format on my LG bluray player, the audio dissapears but keeps on playing the movie. If I try to stop the movie the bluray continues.

The audio stops at the same place within the same movie, but stops at a different places in each movie... if that makes sense ?

Its frustrating to watch 1:30 hrs to have the audio stop just as you get to the finale

Any information or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Whats the audio in the mkv file? Identify with mediainfo.

It might help to use popcorn mkv audio converter to convert dts to ac3 for example.

are these movies you encoded to mkv? if so what did you use to make them? if not, there isn't much hope of fixing them, downloaded movies are hit or miss.
