    Hi
    I have DVD-Video disk (or files IFO, VOB etc.).
    How can I check, what authoring programme was used?
    Is it possible?

    DVD info Pro or DVD Decrypter can give you what little information is stored. Most authoring tools don't leave much of a signature.

    Check some of the VOB files in GSPOT, sometimes the MPEG data signature (whatever it's called) is overwritten with the authoring software info. Encoders, editors, authorware -- they can all alter that segment of data, and often do.
