  1. Hi all,

I´m trying to prepare a large m2v file (1gig) for DVD burning but want to re-encode (reduction will be necessary) using CCE to convert it to DVD compliant files, because I heard it does the best job.

Any ideas on how to do it???

    Thanks...

Firstly, if you need to do simple cuts on the .m2v file, then there's Mpeg editors available...

If you're looking to do some serious reeinventing of the .m2v file, then i'd suggest learning AVISynth..
AVISynth will serve the .m2v file to CCE frame by frame...

    Good luck!!!

  3. Thanks m8,

I really need to re-enconde the m2v file, ´cos I need to put around 10GB movies in a single DVD.

Using scripts, is the only way to do it??? Never used avisynth before...

    Thanks again...

CCE usually errors out if you aren't frameserving your source.
