  1. Hi I have question. I have files recordered with sat receiver in hd in mpeg 2 transport stream format mpeg 4 avc bitrate ca 6 mb/s. I want to make blu ray discs from them with authoring works 5. What is the rule to set bitrate for blu ray disc. If I want not to lost quality and not make unnecesarily big files and be compatible with standalone blu ray. It should be the same as ts file or bigger ?

Use about same bitrate or higher bitrate.

BUt you might have not to reconvert at all if it's blu-ray compliant. Post the details from the ts stream. Use mediainfo.
