I'm using Super on my XP desktop now (3.4GHz P4-HT Prescott) and it does what I want, but I just got a laptop (i3-330U dual core) running Win7-64bit and even though its benchmark scores are a lot higher than the desktop, Super runs a bit slower on it. I'm wondering if a native 64bit conversion utility would speed things up and if so, does one exist?

  3. Most 64 bit video software doesn't run appreciably faster than the 32 bit versions

  4. In my experience Cores = Speed and 64bit OS need excess ram to thrive which means they can speed up a process way faster with a top processor and 8-16gb. My 4gigs is enough to handle most though excessive multitasking and editing is calling for an upgrade.
