When I boot up Windows XP SP2 The Pioneer DVR-115d is listed in my hardware profiles, but is unusable. It doesn't recognize any cd or dvd I put in it. This is the case with both in different computers with the same WinXP SP2.
In explorer Windows sees TWO drives (both a DVD-RAM drive and a separate CD-ROM drive). But neither will list the content of any disk. Note: there is only one physical drive in each machine so this doesn't make any sense.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Buy a new 80 wire ide to connect your PIONEER 115D drive. If you don't use a 80 wire ide cable the drive will not work correctly.
P.S. To any moderator this thread should be in the DVD REWRITER section.
