    HI!

What is the real (visible, optical) resolution of an average Blu-ray disc HD video? It is a complicated theoretical question.
There are downsampling in colorspace (degradation of visible quality), there are degradation due to compression too....
    I suppose around 900*600 pixel....

What do you think about it? Share your opinion!

  2. it is impossible to aswer your question. CG footage can easily 'utilize' fullhd resolution. While old noisy movies may not benefit much from 1080p.
