    Hi, friends!

I use to rip a lot of DVDs from my huge collection. Normally, they would rip at a speed of 16x more or less, with makemkv, Xp home, Intel i7 and an internal Asus BD unit. Suddenly, it started going at no more than 2x. I checked all the usual, DMA mode, etc, then checked the connections, swapped them, then changes the unit, thinking something had got broken in it (LG BD unit now, by the way), with no result. Now I have changed the OS to W7 Pro 64 bits, updated firmwares, etc, and no way.

Could anyone give a hint on how to get my speed back, please? BTW, with BD ripping it is more or less the same, 2x.

Could it be a motherboard problem?

    Thanks in advance, friends!

Have you tried ripped with something else? Like DVDFAb decrypter.

Not with that one in particular, but I have tried makemkv, anydvd converter, dvd decrypter, and tested with nero speedtest.
    Thanks for the answer!
