  1. i've been encodin divx's to vcd and dvd for awhile now with no problem,,but am havin alot of trouble with xvid,when i load into tmpge or use ulead media i am gettin no audio,,,in tmpge the audio isnt even showin up in the audio bar heres an example using GSPOT

    xvid

    audio 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3
    it says i have 4 compatible codecs for audio,,any ideas other than stripping the audio out and rencoding

    Convert the mp3 audio to PCM wav and then use the wav as the audio source in TMPGEnc. To create the wav open your avi with Virtualdub, click ok if you get the VBR error message, go to the audio menu and select "full processing mode", then go the file menu and select "save wav".
