  2. My source file is m2ts.

When I try to open mkvtoolnix : it only see the DTS track and not the video H264 codec inside...

BTW, I've had to "force" to open m2ts file. By default, .m2ts are not included inside the "all supported media file" in the file type dialog box...

  3. Another option is Haali muxer (comes with haali media spitter)

or MakeMKV if this is from a BD for example

or you could use tsmuxer, extract raw streams, then mkvtoolnix to re-wrap

    or eac3to

BTW, I've had to "force" to open m2ts file. By default, .m2ts are not included inside the "all supported media file" in the file type dialog box...
I think that behaviour is new with the new versions of mkvtoolnix, I think older releases worked fine

Even Xvid4PSP can do this (go for the pre-beta 6 versions)

Under the chapter editor? See http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/doc/mkvmerge-gui.html#chaptereditor

Or use a simple tool like MKV Chapterizer that add chapters at a custom interval.
