I usually use auto to focus on a subject and then I switch to manual to lock it in that position.

Where's the "Both" option? I use both methods. Manual focus for static shots and Auto focus for high motion shots.........

    Totally depends on the circumstances.

  6. Auto Focus here, but it often depends on the type of video you are shooting, as well as how good the AF system is on your camera.

I never use the viewfinder on any camera, i rely completely on the flip out screen for all my video work, and have never had any issues with my AF system so far on my cams.

Panasonic consumer/prosumer cams have brilliant AF systems, as well as Image Stabilization as well, hence why i use 2 of their SDT750 cams.
