    hi all,
im new to video editing. just installed adobe premier cs6 to edit a mp4 video which is of few seconds duration.

what i wish to do is to remove text (not a logo) which is appearing on multiple frames?

    how to accomplish this ?

any guidance or steps will be of immense help ?

can i achieve the desired output using any other video editing tool ?

    thanks in advance

  2. Every case is different. Yours may or may not be possible but without seeing it no one can give anything but generic answers. If you want to remove text you have to find something to replace it with.

Is the background (behind the area where the text is) non-moving? Is that non-moving area the same prior to and subsequent to the appearance of the text? If both of those are true, your job is easy (rectangular region cut & paste or similar overlay).

If one is true but not the other, you have your work cut out for you.

If both are not true, the job will be so difficult that you will have to think of using another tool (blurring/averageing?, smearing?), or of replacing with something else (different text, graphic, solid rectangle, etc), or of quitting and leaving it alone.

Need more info, and hopefully examples...

  4. It's only a few seconds long. Upload it here.
