My quest. Import raw video, edit in Final Cut Express (older version) export in quicktime format, save and use (???) to convert mov files to flv (flash video) for posting to my website. If I upgrade to quicktime pro, with perian, can I export to flv? Thanks for any info. I know I can youtube it and import, but really trying to convert locally, add watermark in fFCE or the converter software, and load thru backend to my site to play with flv player (Joomla module).

  2. only Adobe Flash allows you to export as flash (from QuickTime)

    - in FCE, Add your watermark
    - export from FCE to something not too compressed (like h264 with a very high bitrate and some short "keyframes")
    - give it to Vimeo (better quality than youtubve and daily)
    - take the resulting flv from vimeo, integrate it in your site

    bye
