ok I want to rip a few DVD to HDD using FFMpeg.
so how should the Command line look.

    ffmpeg.exe -aspect 16:9 dvd://1 -aid 128 -b:v 2000k -codec:v libxvid -codec:a ac3 -b:a 448k -y -vtag XVID -an "outputMoviepath.avi"

but if I have more DVD path or should I replace the DVD:// with f:// or what.

Consider ripping the dvd (losslessly) onto hard drive as one mpg file first.
Then use FFmpeg to convert the mpg file to avi.

yea that is one option use stream prosessing with dvddecrypter. and just convert the vob.
But some of them has several titles that I want to convert them to several files. thats why I want to do it direct with ffmpeg.

if you use something like anydvd in the background you can setup dvdshrink to rip the dvd to a single file instead of several VTS titles
I love it when a plan comes together!
