I have an aging game (NFS4) that I'd like to archive. ImgBurn is coming up with read errors during ISO creation, but I just tested and the game installs and plays with no issues. Any suggestions?

If it's an original game, then it is copy protected.
There are different software that could be used to circumvent this.
Either Alcohol 120% or Daemon tools can usually copy most games.
This may be considered illegal in some countries.

DTLite seems to have hit a similar problem "Read operation hit a bad (unrecoverable) block (816)"

Strange I was able to install the game and play with no issues, but I cannot create an ISO for safe keeping.

  6. Yeah backing up the disc can be dicey. Sometimes you need to download a hacked .exe to load it from the virtual drive... Try using a good brand name of disc tho'. Like Verbatim's for some reason are better for playing 'backups'.
