I do not quite understand how to manage ffmpeg, I do not want complicated and know to only use.
OK.. never mind, I would downgrade to go back to using an older version 2015.7.11.1 that have worked well for me.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

That is strange,.. will look into it.
Seems to be some compatibility issue with MSVC 2015, which I use to compile Hybrid for Windows.
Adding '/SUBSYSTEM:WINDOWS,5.01' doesn't seem to be enough.
-> will investigate, but this will take a whileLast edited by Selur; 4th Oct 2015 at 23:48.

When loading DVD, Hybrid problem: Found not 'Title Count' in the data structure!
This issue as well as HandBrake, but HB bring up an option "Choose a title to scan", then I just fill "1" to open the title.
Also, your Hybrid failed to read Korean idx/sub, but when I tried using HandBrake it's running smoothly to be added,
I mean Hybrid can extract Korean idx/sub, but error when muxing in the final process conversion.Last edited by Leo99; 26th Oct 2015 at 20:45.

@Leo99:
regarding the subtitle: need a debug output to know what you are doing, my guess is that the tool used for muxing doesn't like the name of the file or folder, but I need more infos to come up with a workaround
regarding the dvd: sorry, if mplayer can't handle the dvd structure (which normally is the case when Found not 'Title Count' in the data structure occurs), I probably can't help. A debug output might help me to may be come up with a workaround, but the chances are not high.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555 -
A good job, Selur... The latest update Hybrid_2015.10.21.1 is working great in XP.. Thank you

Not sure if this is what you want:
Resizing from 1920x1080 (1,77..) to 1920x816 (2,35...) is possible in Hybrid, simply disable 'Auto adjust' under 'Crop/Resize->Main->Resize' and enter the Target resolution you want.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555 -

That is why I wrote: 'Not sure if this is what you want'
Assuming the input and the output have a pixel aspect ratio of 1:1, simply resizing the image will distort (stretch or squeeze) the image and thus make it taller or shorter.
Since I have no clue whether the image has black bars and may be simply removing the black bars (cropping) would do what you want or whether the input and output really do and should have a 1:1 PAR I can't really help.
Since you want an output resolution which is another than the input resolution, you either need to crop or resize the image.
Cropping = no distortion will happen, since the PAR doesn't change.
Resizing = distortion will happen
-> post a sample and describe in more details what you really want and what you have.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555 -
Yes, you right.. the image is shorter when I use Resized to 1920x816 resolution.
A sample video attached in your PM.
Well, how to convert this video to ratio 2.35 without the image distortion.Leo99 -

Your image has huge black bars if those are cropped, the image is 1920x800 (=2,4), so after cropping to get to 1920x816 you need to enable Letterbox and set Width to 1920 and Height to 816.

Selur, I have a rare question :
How to add subtitles so that it becomes a unity together with pictures of video? (not as internal-subs as usual, but permanently).
Note: the source from external subs. Is it possible..?Leo99 -
sure:
- load video source
- activate Main->Tabs->Subtitle
- load subtitle under Subtitle->Import->Subtitle Import->Subtitle File ('<='-button)
- enable 'Embed subtitle in frame'
- add subtitle setting to 'Subtitle Queue' by pressing ->Subtitle->Subtitle Queue->Add Current subtitle .. ('+'-button)

No, works on Win XP, Win Vista, Win7, Win 8, Win 10, like I wrote before 'need a debug output to reproduce that'.

Hi Selur
Thank you for the great free software. i have a problem here.
I'm using the latest hybrid version 2015.12.23.1 on 64bit Windows 10 with Nvidia driver version 354.56. My graph card is Nvidia Quadro K2200, which is similar to GTX750 Ti
The problem is NVEnc is not available in hybrid, I did a bit of research, hybrid will check the graph card before enable nvenc.
it is because my card is quadro not geforce, hybrid cannot recognize?
extra info, if I goto Config -> tools, the NVEnc raw is empty.
Is it possible to fix this?
Thanks
Regards
JH -
Hybrid should mention which graphic cards it found.
I need the exact naming to add a card in the registry.
Since the card is mentioned here adding it to the internal list of Hybrid should fix the problem.

I didn't get any message from Hybrid during startup, I tried to generate debug report, but after I reopen hybrid, the option turned off automatically.
I tried to "clear all cached tool infos", Hybrid restarted and rescaned all the tools, then continues to startup without nvenc support.
can you show me a way to get the name of my card please?
sorry for this stupid question, I'm still new to Hybrid, but I loved it already.
Thanks
