yes, I know, I know, don't kill me.
Probebly there are millions of Posts about it, but still I couldn't find
anything (even after reading the Tmpgenc FAQ).
Big problem - Simple solution I hope.
700Mb Avi Divx file, is suggested by Tmpgenc to be more than 4.7Gb Mpeg 2 files, which doesn't fit into a dvd, naturally.
Even when I Encode it, the Mpeg 2 comes out without no audio.
How is that ? Do I need a codec besides divx 3.11 ?
Thanks.

Run it through the free DivxtoDVD app. It'll ensure the file is less than 4.3 GB. -
The bitrate that you choose for your film sets the file size. Follow a guide, here's one.
"Art is making something out of nothing and selling it." - Frank Zappa -
The AVI file probably has an MP3 audio stream (you can check this by right-click on the file and select Properties -> Summary).
If it does then you need to make sure that the 'Directshow Multimedia File Reader' is enabled and has a higher priority in the TMPGEnc 'VFAPI plug-in' list (see Option -> Environmental Settings) than any of the other 'AVI' file readers.
As for the file size yes, you can reduce this by reducing the Bitrate setting in TMPGenc.
If you are using the wizard reduce the 'Average video bitrate setting' and/or the 'Audio Bitrate' or you can change the percentage value on the 'Makes file size ..' option. -
I've set the Bitrate to the lowest possible - 2000 Kbs.
Still, I get a huge files size (the Time indicator is also not aacurate -
a 90 minutes video file is suddenly 210 minutes etc.) -
I'd say MP3 audio.
Extract it
Use this guide to convert your video, and convert the WAV you created to AC3. Then join the two together in your authoring program. If in doubt, Google it. -

frameserve the video and do all preprocessing here
process the audio outside of TMPGEnc
dont do CBR video (if you are)
try using a bitrate calculator or something
90 minutes shuld fit on a DVD, even w/ audio, w/ a bitrate averaging well over 2000kbits/second
i fit over 4hrs of VERY HIGH QUALITY video on a single DVD w/ KVCD templates, you might wanna chk those out if you're not too closely-bound to the DVD specs by your DVD player/personal preference -
Thanks for all answers.
What I've done, is to set the priority in the settings area.
I've raised the priority of the DirectX and everything was swell !!!
I can covert AVI-divx to mpeg2 with the audio at ease.
