Ok, I downloaded the free one as well.

You will have to use Fab to rip to HDD, shrink to fit to dvd and imgburn to make the dvd.

Be aware that the payware DVDFab and the freeware DVDFab Decrypter are different programs. DVDFab works similar to Shrink.

With Vista, I just use DVD Fab Decrypter or RipIt4Me as needed, then DVD Shrink, then burn with ImgBurn. Really no different than XP.

For a list of Vista compatible programs see here: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List

You have the option in shrink to output to either file or iso.

If you ouput as file you will need to use imgburn to make an iso image first before burning

As you appear to output as an iso image you only have to burn with imgburn.

ImgBurn can also accept a VIDEO_TS folder for a DVD and burn that to a DVD disc, using the 'Build' mode. But either way will work.

Sorry but could you explain this build mode to me?

  24. Take a look here:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=326020&highlight=
Again build mode is ONLY if you have DVD files,if you have an ISO file you can just go to write mode.
You can also use DVDDecrypter to burn an ISO as it will auto burn after DVDShrink is done,I only use ImgBurn for DL media.
