    Like I choose properties in windows on the file and it had the date modified i.e. the date the actual file was first made. Are there any programs that will rename the file before it goes to disc according to this?

    BD doesn't allow for non-standard naming. Read the "what is" about BD and DVD.

    what I mean is to change their names in the menu of the BD-r I am making
    What I need to learn is the original timestamp if possible
