Hello,
I want to make a real personal copy of some TV Show recorded on my TV Box just in case of hard-drive failure.
As you know HDMI is using HDCB to prevent copying. I've found a PC-Card that take Component signal.
So I've asked myself first and you now, can I convert HDMI to Component signal and should I be able to caputure this to my PC ?
Thx for your answer.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

It's cheaper to buy an HDCP stripper. The cheaper ones run about US$20. See later posts in this thread:

Then get an HDMI capture device.
