  1. Hi,

I am using Ulead DVD PictureShow to make a VCD photo slide show. I made a sound annotation for each photo by directly recording my voice. I added a background music for the whole slide show.

Can anyone tell me where is the mixing volume control between my voice and the background music in Ulead DPS2?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. In Ulead DVD PictureShow 2, you can click the ENABLE SOUND ANNOTATION PREVIEW button.

When you click this button, a pop-up menu appears.

This pop-up menu is called the AUDIO PLAYER menu.

Notice how you can click and drag the green strip to adjust the volume.

Likewise, when you tick the RECORDED SOUND option and you click the RECORD button, you will see an AUDIO RECORDER menu with this same green strip that will allow you to adjust the volume of your microphone.

There is no control - as far as I know - that will allow you to alter the volume of music files that are already recorded.

For that task, you will need an audio editing program.

    Hope this helps,

I like the idea of the editing program. YOu can use Gold Wave, for instance:

Load your vocal and audio files into Gold Wave. Delete the right channel of the music audio. Copy the left channel of the vocals, and mix it with right channel of the music audio. Play both music audio channels simultaneously. Select your voice channel to increase/decrease its volume, or select the music the increase/decrease its volume. Once you have the audio where you want it, copy one track and Mix it the other.

Delete the track you copied from (the volume will be reduced to zero), and copy from the newly mixed track. Mix it with the deleted track, and you will now have stereo of your voice and background music mixed perfectly by Specialist Sound Studios. Save.
    Hello.
