hope someone can help. I'm trying to convert single xVid (avi) file to DVD using DVDSanta and when I select the AVI file it seems to some sort of analysing and gives me an error that says "Audio Stream not Supported"
Any help would be appreciated.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

MP3 VBR audio is your problem. One cure is to drop the Xvid into Virtualdub Mod and extract the audio as a WAV, then use that audio and the original video to encode. You will run into it often with Xvid/Divx off the net. A guide:

..or just use either The Film Machine or AVI2DVD to do your conversion to DVD format. Both are freeware & work quite well. I have found DVDSanta to be quite buggy, picky, & has zero tech support behind it.

Thanks for all the helpful information.
I tried the conversion using DivxtoDVD and everything was great, good audio/video conversion, it displayed the subtitles when played on the computer but the subtitles do not show when playing on standalone dvd player. Its a Korean movie and so I need the Subtitles. So close but yet so far. -
have you tried pushing the "subtitle" button on your player/remote while watching the movie?
