  1. Hello,

I can easily create meta file with tsmuxerGUI but I need to remux many ts files(and still have ts container) without subtitles (in VLC named : closed captions). I've used ffmpeg with -sn option : subtitles still exist. In tsmuxer meta file is no word about subtitles : still exist.
These subtitles are from 1080i MPEG-2 HDTV Capture. Subtitles can be extracted with CCextractorGUI. Mediainfo shows :

    Format : MPEG-TS
    File size : 4.33 GiB
Overall bit rate : 11.4 Mbps

    Video
    ID : 49 (0x31)
    Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
    Format : MPEG Video
    Format version : Version 2
    Duration : 54mn 9s
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Bit rate : 10.5 Mbps
    Width : 1 920 pixels
    Height : 1 080 pixels
    Frame rate : 29.970 fps
    Scan type : Interlaced
Scan order : Top Field First
    Compression mode : Lossy

    Text #1
    ID : 49 (0x31)-608-1
    Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
    Format : EIA-608
    Muxing mode : A/53 / DTVCC Transport
Muxing mode, more info : Muxed in Video #1
    Duration : 54mn 9s
    Stream size : 0.00 Byte (0%)

    Text #2
    ID : 49 (0x31)-1
    Menu ID : 1 (0x1)
    Format : EIA-708
    Muxing mode : A/53 / DTVCC Transport
Muxing mode, more info : Muxed in Video #1
    Duration : 54mn 9s
    Stream size : 0.00 Byte (0%)

  2. This is metafile, created by tsmuxerGUI. It has failed to remove subtitles.

    MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --vbr --vbv-len=500
    V_MPEG-2, "1.ts", fps=29.970, track=256
    A_AC3, "1.ts", track=257, lang=eng

  3. Probably the only solution is :
Demux video to MKV with ffmpeg (has command line), audio to AC3 and then mux both tracks into TS with tsmuxer or other command line program (ffmpeg's overhead is bad).

  4. This is also not working : then remuxed mkv into ts - subtitles are shown by mediainfo.

  7. i mean You must demux ES MPEG-2 video and with use tool like https://www.videohelp.com/tools/Restream remove from ES user data related to subtitles then remux ES back to TS. EIA-608/EIA-708subtitles are stored inside video ES (thus they can't be removed by changing container) also nice are on http://www.theneitherworld.com/mcpoodle/SCC_TOOLS/DOCS/SCC_TOOLS.HTML.

Also you can be interested on this http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=162687 (opposite to Your problem)
