xvid with only pcm audio? Sounds strange.

But I like to use xvid4psp 5 and choosing the avi hardware preset for standalone divx/xvid players/tvs.

Do you have any video sample that works perfect? Try then use mediainfo to see what audio and video codecs it contains.

Or just try find a better solution like a standalone mediaplayer or htpc.

I can't see any difference that would make it non playable.

  6. All you have to do is match the video and audio encoding format from the list with that of the software you're using, and disregard the resolution in the remarks. So, with the profile your showing Xvid HQ and MP3 CBR don't match the list i.e. Xvid HQ is not Xvid and MP3 is not PCM.

I have serious doubts about PCM only in AVI, everything else plays MP3. Just use AutoGK to convert and you'll be done. Choose ESS standalone player when asked and set the quality to 75%
