  1. I burned a movie last night and about 30min into it, there's no audio. I popped in disc 2 and it loses it about 10min into it. Not a clue here after search the board for audio problem topics, anybody help? TIA!

Ok - I poked around the help guides a little more and it sounds like I need to convert the audio file to a wav and then merge that with the video in TMPEG?

  2. normally, the audio should be decoded by VDUB... That gives you an AVI with decoded sound (and should be about 2 or 3 times bigger then it was before).

But... I think the problem is your DVD player... I had the same problem as you had. I gave my player a SVCD... allthough the package sayd it was able to read SVCDs, it didn't. It only gave me video, no sound. So here's wut i did. In stead of letting nero burn an SVCD, i burned a VCD with an SVCD(MPEG2) file... same video quality same audio quality. The only special thing is the time on the DVD player... it goes 2 times as fast as normal
