I really wonder why this is happening.

If I play some mediafile on my PC, accompanied by it's .SRT subtitle file, the subtitles are so nicely rendered.

BUT, when I convert the media files to a DVD format to play on my standalone, the subtitles look real ugly.
I've tried DVD Author and ConvertXtoDVD, and both have some really ugly fonts drawn on my TV.

Thanks darkknight, I already tried that, they show really great on previews, but the output is ugly, even when played on PC.

Perhaps the reason is that subtitles are rendered as a different layer on DVD, and there cannot be done the nice Anti-Aliasing (sorry, I'm just noobily guessing ) as it can be done when rendered on the PC.
