I am ripping my LARGE DVD library to a 12TB Synology Disk station
by decoding them with DVD fab 8 and assembling them with VOB2DVD.
I have done it this this way for about 4 years.

A few months ago I thought it would be fair to buy the Pro version, since I was using the software. Under the heading of no deed goes unpunished my troubles started there. With the current VOB2DVD PRO software my PS3 can no longer play the files properly. The PS3 wont play them or wont play the audio, and I have not figured out what that depends on either.

My Google TV, Patriot Box office or any computer with VLC will play the files produced with VOB2DVD just fine.

Does some one else have this problem?

I would be willing to edit the header on the files already ripped but going forward I don't want to go to that level of effort, so I hope the people at BadgerIT are reading this and fix the problem.

Which "text" editor should I use to edit the header ?
What do I need to change about the header of the files that wont play?

Well you have been doing an un-necessary extra step for 4 years. DVDFab gives you a working, fully functional DVD. There is no need for VOB2DVD.
    What exactly is VOB2DVD anyway?

netvet: Are you sure you didn't mean VOB2MPEG?
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
