I need to reformat my hard drive and start fresh, but I don't want to lose some presets I have saved. Aside from taking screen shots of the settings, is there a way to make a backup of the presets? I did find a location for FX presets here: Sony\Vegas Pro 8.0\Presets but there's no track motion presets in there.. Has anyone run into this?

Sony have a utility called preset manager for moving presets between machines. You can download it here.

I checked out the preset manager, however, it only appears to save video fx presets, not track motion presets =( I was wasting too much time trying to figure it out so I just made screen shots of my presets and I'll recreate them in Vegas.
