  1. Is it okay to use hqdn3d and smartblur at the same time? Are they redundant? Or might they result in too much blurring? I'm still feeling my way around ffmpeg and trying to figure out where some of the pitfalls are. Thanks!

    smartblur is spatial filter where hqdn3d is spatial and temporal filter - they can be combined - everything depends - what is your goal...
